Dhung is either a plain or carved or silver or nickel coated white conch. They come in various sizes and are collected from some big river sides or oceans. Dhung are used during Buddhist ritual performances or for beginning a Lama Mani, a narrative story telling event in Tibet. Hindu priests also use Dhung for their ritual performances.
